This is a container in your driveway for as long as the project takes. You load it when you have time, we haul it away when you are done. No trips to the transfer station with a borrowed truck, no pile of debris on the lawn for three weeks.
Typical home projects we deliver for:
- Cleanouts. Garages, basements, attics, sheds, and whole houses. Estate cleanouts and downsizing before a move are a big part of this. A 15 or 20 yard covers most of them. A full house that has not been emptied in decades usually needs a 30, or a 20 that we swap once.
- Kitchen and bath remodels. Cabinets, counters, drywall, tile, and flooring. One bathroom fits in a 10. A kitchen wants a 15 or 20.
- Roofing. Shingles are heavy, so weight matters more than space. As a rough guide, a single layer of asphalt shingles runs 250 to 400 pounds per roofing square depending on the shingle. Tell us the number of squares and layers and we will match the container to the weight. Worth knowing: the county's Shady Grove drop-off does not accept shingles from the public, so for a DIY roof a dumpster is the practical option.
- Flooring and carpet. Carpet and pad are bulky but light. Hardwood and tile are the opposite.
- Yard and landscaping projects. Brush, branches, old shrubs, fence panels, deck boards, and play sets.
- Decks, sheds, and fences. A 12 by 12 deck fits in a 10 yard with room to spare.

What is the difference between a roll off dumpster and a regular dumpster?
A roll off is an open-top container delivered on a truck and rolled off onto your driveway or site for a temporary project. A regular commercial dumpster is the lidded kind that sits behind a business and gets emptied on a weekly route. We rent roll offs.
Can I mix different kinds of debris in one container?
Yes for normal household junk and construction debris. Heavy materials such as concrete, brick, and dirt should not be mixed in without talking to us first, because they change how the load is weighed and where it can be taken.
Can you swap a full dumpster for an empty one?
Yes. Call when the container is close to full and we will schedule a swap so your crew keeps working.
Do you offer junk removal, where a crew loads everything?
No. We deliver the container and haul it away. You or your crew do the loading. That is also why a dumpster usually costs less than a full-service junk removal crew for larger jobs.
