Gaithersburg splits pretty cleanly into older neighborhoods with normal driveways and newer planned communities where everything is tighter. Knowing which one you are in tells us most of what we need.

Olde Towne, Observatory Heights, Quince Orchard, and the established neighborhoods

Detached houses, real driveways, mature trees. These are easy deliveries. The main thing we check is overhead clearance, because the truck raises the container at an angle to roll it off, and a low oak limb over the driveway can get in the way. Typical jobs: kitchens, basements, decks, roof replacements, and cleanouts. The 15 and 20 yard cover most of it.

Kentlands, Lakelands, and Crown

These communities were designed around walkable streets, rear alleys, and garages behind the house. They are great to live in and a little tricky to put a dumpster in. There is usually no front driveway at all. The container goes on the garage apron off the alley, or in a space the association approves. The alleys are narrow, so we use the 10 or 15 yard most often and plan the approach before the truck shows up.

These neighborhoods also have active community associations with rules about containers, how long they can stay, and sometimes where. Check with yours before booking. A quick email to the management office usually does it.

Washingtonian, Rio, and the commercial corridors

Retail and office work along Frederick Avenue, around Washingtonian Center, and in the business parks. For tenant build-outs we coordinate with property management on where the container sits and when the truck can come in.
